The project was assigned, by Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, to LIDECO to make specific planning, with the ratio of 1:500, for a new urban area in Ham Mountain area, Hong Ha ward and Ha Tu ward, Ha Long city, according to Decision No. 255/QD-UBND of Provincial People's Committee, dated 21/01/2019.
On April 28th, 2020, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province issued Decision No. 1383/QD-UBND, approving the task of adjusting the specific planning for the new urban area in Nui Ham area, Hong Ha ward. and Ha Tu ward, Ha Long city. Up to now, the People's Committee has authorized the Ha Long City People's Committee and LIDECO to study some more detailed planning options for the project, under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.
